Lucky Five

This is Chapter 10 of book two through chapter 3 of book three.
Winston and Julia wake up in the secret room to music being played below outside the window. They start to think ONCE AGAIN about an uprising of the proles and then they make a statement which brings everything to a halt. "WE ARE DEAD!" and a third voice says "YOU ARE DEAD." They realize there is a hidden telescreen behind a portrait in the room. Then both of them hear stomping going on all around the house. The police come and start to beat both Winston and Julia. Then Mr. Charrington (the man who owns the store) comes in barking orders. Winston then realizes his voice was the one over the telescreen. Mr. Charrington is on the THOUGHT POLICE!!
Winston arrives at the place where there is no darkness. A bright cell with four telescreens and a large prole woman standing guard. He wonders if the woman could be his mother. They share the same last name... Smith. He is forced to share is cell with many different odd fellows. He then sees starvation and beating going on everywhere. He longs for a razorblade so he can commit suicide. A police man smashes his elbow and Winston must lay there in pain.
Winston waits and talks to O'Brien about how wonderful big brother is and the way they have perfected the government. He realizes that Julia betrayed him immediately and O'Brien tells him that he does not exist.
After two weeks O'Brien and Winston talk motives of the party. Winston has started to deteriorate and become gray in the face. He weeps over Julia and fears the worse. He knows what lies ahead and wishes it wouldn't happen. He knows that he brought this upon himself by starting his diary.
Inference: He will get out of the cell and meet back up with Julia.
Connection: Once again this reminds me of Hitler and Germany. They captured tons of Jews and treated them like they are nothing.
